2017
I transitioned to making a full-time living as a freelance content writer during the ICO era, merging my passion for writing with the emerging needs of the crypto and blockchain landscape.
2018
Attending my first two crypto conferences, I became captivated by the potential of the blockchain industry, which was still relatively obscure but brimming with potential.
2019
With a solid background in organizational leadership, I founded three companies, each teaching me invaluable lessons. During this period, I also engaged in a variety of Web3 content consulting projects.
2020
A significant milestone in my career was becoming one of the first consultants for the blockchain division at Amazon Web Services. Additionally, I produced content for AWS's Re: Invent conference. Additionally, I created the first NFT poem attached to a physical poem, minted in 2020, which was shortlisted for a Lumen Prize and exhibited in Paris.
2021
I played a key role in launching NFL Rivals, the NFL's first crypto-based mobile video game. I also managed press for Rick Ross's crypto-themed 4/20 party in Miami, collaborating with influencers such as Kane Trujillo, Dakota Miller, and Nick Ireland while following the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship around the country as an advisor for a crypto startup. I authored one of the earliest books on crypto advertising, which debuted in 2021 and ranked in the top 300 on Amazon for Business Consulting.
2022
As the lead community and communications steward at ETHDenver, I generated over 15 million impressions in just 10 days. I advised King Saladeen on his Web3 project with Shaquille O'Neal for Gary Vee's Goats Only event.
2023
Advising NASDAQ-traded BTCS and ringing the NASDAQ bell was a career highlight. Prior to my blockchain career, I served as an adjunct professor teaching American history and volunteered as a teacher in Yap, Micronesia, the island of stone money famously studied by Milton Friedman.
2024
Hosted a panel with the inventors of the proto-blockchain, Stuart Haber and Scott Stornetta. The talk was held in Manahattan at the Javitz Center for NFT NYC.
WHAT DO I DO?
In addition to building writing-related businesses and continually refining my own writing, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge on becoming a fully independent digital writer and author across various social platforms such as Twitter, YouTube, Medium, and LinkedIn.
